These terms describe use of RealityBytesMe, an independent publication edited and published by Ingolfur Stangeland. They cover the website, its cartoons and articles, and its interactive features.
Satire and editorial content
Our cartoons and fictional archetypes exaggerate workplace patterns for commentary and entertainment. They should not be treated as factual allegations about identifiable people or as advice for a particular employment, legal or business decision. Editorials express the views of their authors.
Sharing and reusing the work
You are welcome to share links to our pages. For permission to reproduce complete cartoons or articles, adapt artwork, use it in products or use it commercially, please contact the publisher. Credit alone is not a substitute for permission where permission is required.
Copyright and other rights remain with their respective holders. These terms do not restrict quotation, criticism, review or other uses permitted by applicable law. Do not remove attribution or imply that the publication endorses you or your product.
Ideas, reactions and generated text
Only submit material you are entitled to share. Do not include confidential workplace information, personal contact details, threats, unlawful material or targeted harassment. Do not manipulate votes, impersonate another person or interfere with the service.
By submitting an idea for publication, you permit the publisher to review it and develop it into a cartoon for display on the site. You retain any rights you hold in your submitted material; this permission is not a transfer of ownership. Publication is discretionary, and ideas may be declined, edited or removed. Review the submission form and Privacy page before sharing information.
The jargon generator uses AI assistance. Its output may be inaccurate or inappropriate for your situation; review it before reuse and do not submit sensitive information. Automated checks can make mistakes and do not guarantee that material is suitable for publication.
Advertising and external websites
The site may display advertising and promotional links. Following a link to a shop, advertiser or social platform takes you to an independently operated service with its own terms and privacy practices. A placement does not make that service part of RealityBytesMe.
Privacy, availability and corrections
Our Privacy page describes storage, analytics and information processed by interactive features. Features and content may change or be temporarily unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every error will be detected.

Changes to these terms
Updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date. Nothing here excludes rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
